Good Life Careers, LLC was founded by Dr. Rob Tepley and Mike Tepley. While growing up, and now with our own families, we have seen first-hand the challenges of selecting a college, choosing a major, and finding a career path that is both personally meaningful and financially rewarding. In today's world of exorbitant college tuition costs and widespread career uncertainty, we believe is it imperative to give young people the tools necessary to make informed decisions at every stage. At Good Life Careers, we have the tools young people need. We are committed to providing accurate, affordable and convenient assessments that empower young people (and adults) to pursue career paths that truly reflect their passion and personality.

Dr. Robert P. TepleyDr. Rob Tepley works with individuals to identify optimal career choices, make effective career transitions, and maximize career success through individual assessment and counseling. For the past decade, he has assessed and counseled high school students exploring career interests for the first time, college students focused on career decision making, individuals seeking unconventional career alternatives, and top corporate executives experiencing career transitions or obstacles to career advancement.

In 1998, Dr. Tepley received his Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from the Department of Educational Psychology, University of Texas at Austin. Prior to that, in 1993, he completed training as a marriage and family therapist, earning a Master of Arts degree in Human Development and Family Relations from the University of Connecticut. Rob earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Dayton.

Dr. Tepley also is the Founder and Managing Partner of Neuropsychology Consultants, LLC, a group psychology and neuropsychology practice in Connecticut. Since 1999, his clinical practice has included psychological assessment and counseling; rehabilitation and work capacity evaluation; and neuropsychological evaluation of individuals with learning disabilities, attention disorders, mild cognitive impairment, medically unexplained illnesses, dementia, and brain injury. Dr. Tepley is a Connecticut licensed psychologist.

Michael K Tepley, Jr., Lt Col USAF (Ret)

Michael K Tepley, Jr., Lt Col USAF (Ret)Mike Tepley is a retired, senior US Air Force officer who has specialized in mentoring future leaders in both military and civilian organizations. Having served over 22 years in the Air Force, he is a recognized expert in organizational leadership, operations, and logistics. He was a combat F-16 fighter pilot and commanded a squadron in direct support to a 20,000-person Army division; which included a combat deployment to Baghdad, Iraq, for which he was awarded the Bronze Star for "outstanding service as Commander during combat operations".

Since his retirement from the USAF in 2009, he has led many large, multi-discipline teams on various defense programs as both Program Manager and Director of Operations, leading and coordinating daily activities of multi-million dollar contracts.

Throughout his career, Mike has brought demonstrated, cultural change to failing or "floating" organizations by creating a positive environment, inspiring personal excellence, and leveraging the talents and expertise of everyone within the organizational team.

Mike Tepley earned his Masters of Science in Industrial Engineering/Engineering Management with a focus on organizational leadership in 1999. He graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 1989 with a B.S. degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Lt Col (Ret) Mike Tepley has over 2200 flight hours in the F-16, AT/T-38 and various civilian aircraft. He currently is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
